*داخلے کی شرطیں*
تعليمى وظيفے کے امیدوار کا ان شرطوں پر پورا اترنا ضروری ہے:
1- طالبعلم مسلمان اور اچھی سیرت وکردار کا مالک ہو, *میٹرک پاس ہو،* میٹرک کی سند کسی سرکاری اسکول یا (جامعہ میں) منظور شدہ مدرسے کی ہو، *سند حاصل کئے ہوے پانچ سال سے زیادہ کا عرصہ نہ گذرا ہو،* طبی لحاظ سےصحیح (تندرست) ہو، تعليمى وظيفے کے امیدوار کی *عمر پچیس سال سے زیادہ نہ ہو*، قرآن کریم کی فیکلٹی میں داخلے کا خواہش مند پورے قرآن کریم کا حافظ ہو، تعلیم کے لئے لازماً مکمل طور پر اپنے آپ کو فارغ رکھے، اگر سکنڈری کی سند مملکت سعودی عرب کی ہے تو قدرات عامہ کے امتحان کی سند بھی حاصل کرچکا ہو.
جامعہ میں داخلے کی درخواستیں قبول کرنے کے لئے کوئی دفتر یا نمائندہ نہیں ہے اور نہ ہی کوئی فیس ہے۔ طالب علم کو چاہیے کہ وہ بذات خود آن لائن درخواست پیش کرے، اور درخواست پیش کرنے کی کاروائی مکمل ہونے کے بعد دیے جانے والے نمبر کی حفاظت کی ذمہ داری بھی خود اٹھائے داخلے کی درخواست میں درج معلومات پر اسی وقت بھروسہ کیا جا ئےگا جب ان کے ثبوت کے طور پر متعلقہ دستاویز بھی پیش کئے جائیں. جعلی دستاویز پیش کرنے والا سزا کا مستحق ہوگا اور اس کا داخلہ ختم کردیا جائے گا. *داخلہ شدہ طالب علم کو جامعہ کے ویب سائٹ سے، پھر متعلقہ ائیر لائنز سے رجوع کرنے پر ٹکٹ نمبر دیا جائے گا.*

اپلائی کرنے کے لئے مطلوبہ کاغذات :

1- پچھلے تعلیمی مراحل کی مارکس شیٹس اور سرٹیفیکیٹس
2۔ کسی پروفیسر یا ٹیچر کا ریفرنس لیٹر
3- شناختی کارڈ یا بے فارم
4- پاسپورٹ جس کی کم سے کم مدت چھے ماہ سے زائد ہو
5- اگر کسی تعلیمی سطح پر یا ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں یا سپورٹس میں کوئی خاص پوزیشن حاصل کی ہے تو اس کے سرٹیفیکیٹس

اپلائی کرنے کا طریقِ کار :

1- اگر آپ کا شناختی کارڈ اور پاسپورٹ نہیں بنا تو ارجنٹ بنیاد پر اپلائی کر دیں جو آپ کو 20 فروری سے پہلے مل جائے۔
2۔ سارے مطلوبہ کاغذات کو اچھے طریقے سے سکین کر لیں۔
3- ترکی سکالرشپس کی سائٹ پر جا کر اپنے جی میل اکاونٹ کے ذریعے اپنی اپلیکیشن رجسٹر کریں۔
4- اپلیکیشن میں اپنی ساری معلومات درست طریقے سے شامل کریں۔ اور سب کاغذات اٹیچ کر دیں۔
5- اپلیکیشن مکمل ہو جانے کے بعد سائٹ آپ کی تعلیمی سطح کے مطابق یونیورسٹیز اور پروگرام خود سامنے رکھ دے گی، ان میں سے اپنی پسند کی یونیورسٹی اور پروگرام منتخب کریں۔
6- جب اپلیکیشن ہر طرح مکمل ہو جائے گی تو سائٹ آپ کو "سمٹ" کا آپشن دے گی، سمٹ کرنے کے بعد آپ کی اپلیکیشن کاروائی کا حصہ بن جائے گی۔
7- اپلیکیشن کو ایک ہی بار میں مکمل کرنا ضروری نہیں، آپ مختلف مواقع پر لاگ ان ہو کر اپلیکیشن مکمل کر سکتے ہیں۔

تعليمى وظيفے کے امیدوار کا ان شرطوں پر پورا اترنا ضروری ہے:
1- طالبعلم مسلمان اور اچھی سیرت وکردار کا مالک ہو, *میٹرک پاس ہو،* میٹرک کی سند کسی سرکاری اسکول یا (جامعہ میں) منظور شدہ مدرسے کی ہو، *سند حاصل کئے ہوے پانچ سال سے زیادہ کا عرصہ نہ گذرا ہو،* طبی لحاظ سےصحیح (تندرست) ہو، تعليمى وظيفے کے امیدوار کی *عمر پچیس سال سے زیادہ نہ ہو*، قرآن کریم کی فیکلٹی میں داخلے کا خواہش مند پورے قرآن کریم کا حافظ ہو، تعلیم کے لئے لازماً مکمل طور پر اپنے آپ کو فارغ رکھے، اگر سکنڈری کی سند مملکت سعودی عرب کی ہے تو قدرات عامہ کے امتحان کی سند بھی حاصل کرچکا ہو.

We , at the Guidance Point Tuition Centre situated behind Zam Bazaar police station, Triplicane , have been providing Free Tuition for the past 5 Years to the Poor and underprivileged Students studying in 10th Std, 11th Std and 12th Std and living in and around Triplicane / Ice House / Royapettah area.

1. Who can apply?

• Students between 14-25 years of age who wish to pursue undergraduate studies.

3. How to apply?

• Students eligible for Economically Backward Class (EBC) or any other Govt. educational aid need not apply.

• The applicant is required to attach details as to why, being eligible, he/she has not applied for EBC, OBC or any other government aid/ scholarship or college welfare fund or to his / her own Jamat Trust. If any applications are found without such report they will be rejected.

• College and higher studies students are required to give full details of course duration and final academic aim of the students.

• Upon grant of scholarship to a student in the previous semester/academic year, if the student has failed or cleared with A.T.K.T. the application for scholarship for the next semester/academic year shall be rejected solely on this ground subject to the unquestionable discretion of the trust.

• If you are eligible and ready with the necessary documents, hit the APPLY NOW button. After you complete the Sign Up process you will be transferred to the scholarship application form.

• Fill up the scholarship application form carefully making sure that no field is left empty. All questions must be answered neatly in BLOCK letters. Please attach a separate sheet wherever necessary for detailed answers. Brief answers and incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.

The pre – admission online enrolment form will be available on mum.digitaluniversity.ac from 1st June, 2017 from morning 11.00am , to process for the courses listed in the circular which includes F.Y B.A, FY. - Log in with the user name & Password. Start filling the application form.
- Upload the photo & Signature. Fill the complete profile i.e Personal details, contact, correspondence details, reservation & educational details correctly. Submit the application form and get print out & confirmation code in the system.
- Select the first year course. Then, select the affiliated colleges running the course. Last, select the required documents to be attached with application form.
- Take the print out of the submitted pre-registration application form.
Once applicant have filled the application form successfully and apply, he/she will have to submit the printout of application form along the necessary documents to every course- college separately for which applicant have applied. An application will not be considered valid in any case unless print out is submitted to the college.

Pre admission Online Enrollment is beneficial for students as it provides PNR no. While filling exam form, students will have all their details with them and they can take Print out of their Hall ticket. University of Mumbai will get Students PNR no. and eligibility process will be easy.

What is TFWS?
The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) was introduced in 2007 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) for providing highly subsidised technical education to economically backward students, women and physically challenged students. The rule was to be applied to engineering and hospitality courses for more catering to the needs of students having different interests.

Number of Seats:
Initially the rule was not compulsorily applied to various colleges. The government initially had plans of having a supernumerary quota of 10% of the sanctioned strength for the TFWS students. However, this number has been reduced to 5% of the total seats and made compulsory to ALL colleges recognized by the AICTE which will include private unaided institutes.

Example: If there are 120 students in a department then there will be 6 Supernumerary Seats (in addition to 120 seats) which will be split equally; 2 seats for each of the Economically Backward, Women and Physically Challenged students.

Eligible Candidates:
Only those candidates who have an annual family income lesser than Rs. 6 Lakh from ALL possible sources are eligible to apply through the TFWS scheme. The required income related documents MUST BE validated by the appropriate competent authority of the Maharashtra State in order for the students to take the seats which are secure through the CAP round.

Highlights of TFWS:
Candidates who want to opt for these additional TFWS seats will have to specify their willingness in the option form as a separate choice code.
Apart from the tuition fee, ALL OTHER fees must be paid by the candidates. However, tuition fees for the entire course duration will be exempt.
Once a student enrolls in a course under TFWS, s/he will not be allowed to change or shift courses.
In case of non-availability of students, the TFWS seats will be kept vacant instead of being awarded to other candidates.
All such additional seats shall be treated as TFWS seats of Maharashtra state quota. These additional seats will be filled as State Level seats and will be made available to eligible candidates as a separate choice.
Only Maharashtra State candidates will be eligible for admission through this scheme.
Thus, students wishing to secure admission under TFWS must be in touch with the DTE website and take due regard of notifications with regard to the CAP round.

From state Board exam results to civil service examinations, Muslims youth are making their way among the toppers, with the number of candidates successfully clearing prestigious competitive examinations also showing an upward trend.

This can be gauged from that fact that in the recently declared result of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), around 50 Muslim candidates made their entry to the prestigious government service. The number is being considered as the highest, post-independence of India.

The number usually used to hover between 30-40 successful candidates in the last few years. It was 36 in 2016, 38 in 2015, 34 in 2014 and 30 in 2013.

The success stories don’t stop here. In Bengal’s Madhyamik Examination, the result of which was declared in the last week of May, five Muslim students made their way among the top ten students. A total of ten lakh students had appeared for the exam.

In Gujarat intermediate level exam results, Farhana Bawani topped the science stream by securing 99.72 percent marks. Like her, Rozina Shaikh also featured among the toppers by securing 97.07 percent.

In Assam’s higher secondary results, Sarfaraz Hussain topped the exam by scoring 590 marks out of 600. He stood top among 3,81,585 students who had appeared with him in the same examination.

These numbers are not limited to just a few states, but almost every other state has stories where more and more Muslims are taking up the challenges and excelling in their respective fields. The developments are quite significant in the backdrop of lowest literacy rate and highest percentage of illiterates aged beyond seven years (42.72 percent) among Muslims, according to 2011 Census data.

The number of illiterates is 36.4 percent for Hindus, 32.49 percent for Sikhs, 28.17 percent for Buddhists and 25.66 percent for Christians, according to 2011 Census data on "education level by a religious community" for age seven years and above.

In the literacy graph also, Muslims feature at the lowest among other religious communities. The Jain community has 94.9 percent literacy rate, Christians have 84.5 percent, Sikhs 75.5 percent, Hindus 73.3 percent and Muslims stand at 68.5 percent. The literacy rate among Muslims is lower than the national average of 74.04 percent. The data also reveals that a meager 2.76 percent Muslims are educated till graduation level or above.

If these numbers are taken in relation to the community's population of 14.2 percent (according to 2011 Census), then nothing substantial has been done by successive governments in improving the literacy rate of Muslims in the last one decade.

The Congress, which usually claims to champion the cause of minorities, sat on most of the recommendations given by the Rajinder Sachar committee report for improving the social, economic and educational status of the community for two consecutive terms in power. The Sachar committee recommendations continue to be ignored by the BJP-led NDA government, from which Muslims expect the least.

In the second week of May, Union minister for minority affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi had said the Centre will launch a campaign to educationally empower the poor and marginalized sections of society and stressed on the Modi government’s commitment towards providing quality education to students belonging to minority communities. However, budget figures depict a different story.

The Union Budget (2017-2018) allocated Rs 4195.48 crore to the minority affairs ministry, an increase of Rs 368.23 crore from the 2016-17 Budget of Rs 3827.25 crore. The amount stood at Rs 3712.78 crore in the 2015-16 Budget. A major part of the budget allocated to the minority ministry goes to states and Union Territories in the form of grant-in-aid, thus leaving only a marginal amount for policies aimed at the educational development of Muslims. Besides, the figures depict that there is the only marginal increase in Budget allocation as compared to the Muslim population of over 140 million.

At the policy level, there is a poor representation of Muslims. Consider the case of the ministry of minority affairs; according to an RTI, there are only seven Muslims employees out of total 74. Out of the seven, one is a joint secretary, one deputy secretary, one ASO, one SRI, one MTS and one senior translator (Urdu).

A ministry that is supposed to design and implement various development policies for minorities lacks representation from the very same communities, who are better equipped with the policy inputs required for an optimum policy design.

The recent successful results of Muslims will definitely work as a catalytic factor in an uplift of the community educationally in the long run. The results become more significant in the backdrop of RSS and Modi-led NDA government's approach of continuously targeting the community over different issues.

The Muslim community understands that education is the only way out, so should the central government and its ideologue realize that targeting the minority community will only hurt the national interest.

Instead of coming up with new schemes, if the already designed policies, programmes, and schemes are well implemented and evaluated for their effectiveness with true intent, along with substantial increase in budgetary allocation to the ministry of minority affairs, then a major leap could be taken forward towards improving the status of Muslims educationally, which will subsequently improve their social and economic status.

A prosperous and empowered minority community always serves as a badge of honor for democracies, which India, the world’s largest democracy, would surely want to get.

When a small town *"Mumbra"* - located at Sahayadri range in Thane district celebrated the success of their *first Indian Civil Servant (UPSC 2016) Ezaz Ahmed;* the socio-educated class of Muslims felt proud for this accomplishment.

Though an achievement, this year, we got some 50 such Ezazs from our community which is very, very less than required.

On other hands, _due to poor representation at the administration or civil services in the government, Muslim community faces one of the worst situations since independence. This has also led to call for long-time separated religious clerics unite and reach out to the masses._

The country has over 200 million Muslims living in rural & urban India in which Muslims of Maharashtra (around 20 million) has a major role to play towards the development of their community. The reason why I say "Maharashtrian Muslims" because they have better access to economies, technology, education and lively conditions compared to Muslims of UP, Bihar, WB or Telangana.

For me, it is simple, Muslims living in Maharashtra are Maharashtrian Muslims.

At large, the Maharashtrians has been called "Community of Clerks." (Clerk - employees who work 10 to 5 and stick to one table & chair throughout the life). Unfortunately, this doesn't suit Maharashtrian Muslims here.

_Muslims in the state has produced an ample number of doctors, engineers, CA/CS, lawyers & professionals through various minority institutes, scholarships and also Madrassa. For e.g: just observe a number of clinics and hair cutting salons around us. Definitely, you'll find more doctors around you than barbers._

Now the time has come where we need to stop producing the above-mentioned professionals and start producing Civil Servants in which teachers, Maulvis, NGOs has a crucial role to play.

To begin with, we can aim at producing State Level Civil Servants which can create "Delhi" like atmosphere, study circles for UPSC.

One can see the syllabus of Maharashtra at www.mpsc.gov.in One will find it very easy as 70% of topics are from 10+2 syllabi.

The results of Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) will surely going to help and build our morale too. Every year toppers are coming from small-sized rural towns with securing first class or just above percentage and getting deputation as Deputy. Collector, Assistant Commissioner of Police or Deputy SP. I've complete faith & believe in the zeal & thrust of Muslim Children for education and accepting challenges.

Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, has issued notification on the process of selection of medical cadets for commissioning in Armed Forces Medical Services as Medical Officers.
A total of 130 candidates (105 boys and 25 girls) will be selected for MBBS course for year 2017 at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. The selected candidates will have service liability to get commissioned in the Armed Forces Medical Services as Medical Officers on successful completion of the course.

Eligibility Criteria:
* Applicant should be a citizen of India. Foreign nationals of Indian origin may be admitted into AFMC only after they have acquired Indian Citizenship or in respect of whom the Ministry of Home Affairs issues a certificate of eligibility.
* Applicant should be unmarried. Marriage during the course is not permitted. Applicant should have attained the age of 17 years on 31st December, 2017 but must not have attained the age of 24 years on that date He/she must have been born not earlier than 1st January, 1994 and not later than 31st December, 2000.
* Applicant must have passed one of the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent exam) in the first attempt with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken simultaneously and securing not less than 60% of the aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together and not less than 50% marks in any of the four subjects. They must have also passed an examination in Mathematics of the tenth standard.
* Those from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir are eligible for admission to AFMC, Pune.
* Applicant should have appeared in NEET-UG 2017 and scored minimum of marks at 50th percentile.
* Applicant should be medically fit as per laid down medical standard for commissioning as officers in AFMS.

: IIT Madras is offering a free training course online to create Apps for the smartphones. This online course is called IMAD (Introduction and Modern Application Development).
This free course is offered through NPTEL plan. The course duration is 8 weeks. No fees to be paid.
By joining this course, one can easily understand the process to create mobile Apps. With the training, one can know the art of designing new Apps.
The successful participants will be given a training completion certificate by IIT Madras. This course would be extremely useful in securing jobs in the field of Apps creation. So far, 83000 candidates have completed this course and benefited. They have been successful in creating more than 6700 new Apps.
